Hop to it, folks! We've found some most eggscellent of Easter Egg Hunts happening in London for Easter 2023! Don't forget to jump back into the guide regularly though: we'll keep updating when news of more Easter eggstravaganzas reach our (bunny) ears.
You'll have a hoppy Easter when you head just out of town into the Essex countryside at Hopefield Animal Sanctuary! All children's tickets will include admission to a Easter Bunny Workshop and Easter Trail plus inflatables (including toddler zone), entertainers, live performances by Aerial Acoustics, Robbie Bunsell, and Razzamataz Theatre School, a soft play trailer, bungee trampolines and a meet and greet with Captain America, Elsa & Anna. Eggcellent stuff.

This April, the wonderful world of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s incredible invertebrate Superworm has been recreated at Kew Gardens, so wiggle on over for all the fun. These brand-new interactive trails, while not traditional hunts eggsactly, will allow young visitors to discover all about the vital role which bugs and critters play in our ecosystem.

English Heritage sites will be in full bloom so hop over to your nearest setting for its Easter Adventure Quest, which will be happening at 26 of its lovely spots. Eggspect a fun treasure hunt around historic grounds that your little bunnies will love. Kenwood, Eltham and Marble Hill are your London locations if you want to stay close to town.

WWT London Wetland Centre is gorgeous all year round but spring is especially wonderful to see all the new life happening right now. It's also the place to go for a Giant Duck Hunt! Some of the ducklings have gone missing and you're invited to help find them around the reserve! Find the eight ducklings and you’ll win a chocolate prize.

The Easter fun is bouncing into action at National Trust sites with gardens all over the country. The Easter action includes a trail filled with nature-inspired activities, and if you complete the fun you'll bag a Rainforest Alliance chocolate egg made using cocoa that's responsibly sourced from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms. Trails cost £3 and some may need to be booked in advance, so check the website ahead of time.

For a fun-filled, family-friendly event head over to St. John's Wood Church on the 1st or 2nd April 2023 (10am to 4pm) for a map of full of clues to help you find the cheeky bunnies who are hiding in the garden. It's £3 for a map and you'll get an Easter egg prize when you finish the eggscapades.

Histrionic Productions is thrilled to announce The Peter Rabbit Easter Adventure in the heart of London’s iconic Covent Garden Piazza this Easter from 21 March – 16 April. Through a captivating mix of live performance and puppetry, visitors will be transported back to a Covent Garden of old, teeming with fresh flowers, fruit and vegetables as Beatrix Potter heads out on a mission to rescue Jemima Puddle-Duck from the clutches of Mr. McGregor. During the 50-minute interactive outdoor adventure, families will experience Peter Rabbit’s adventures in person as they accompany Beatrix Potter to search for secret notes, maps, and other clues and meet Peter Rabbit, Benjamin Bunny, Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle, and a few surprise encounters along the way.

If you're in the east of town then Romford Shopping Hall has a traditional Easter Egg hunt going on, and at just £3 per child it's not going to put a bunny sized hole in your wallet. Its also got an Easter bonnet activity happening on 25th March.

Both Hampton Court Palace and Kensington Palace have teamed up with Lindt for their Easter hunts this year where kids aged four to 12 years can explore the palaces and more than 60 acres of gardens in search of gold bunnies.

The Easter Bunny will be visiting Sunken Garden of Cannizaro Park for a traditional egg hunt organised by Hotel du Vin & Bistro that will include lots of fun and chocolates. Book your tickets ahead of the event which includes a soft drink, raffle entry and the hunt, and the proceeds of which will be donated to a selected kid's charity to help children in need.

The Easter bunny is set to be very busy over at Leses Abbey Woods and in his rush he might just accidently drop his eggs that were meant to be delivered around the park to his animal friends. Little ones can help him out by finding the eggs and once done there will be a small prize
