Easy recipes for kids that don't need (elusive) flour or eggs!

If you've run the gauntlet recently on an essential supermarket run, chances are you struck unlucky when it came to eggs and flour. Fear not: your lockdown 2.0 kitchen-based fun with the kiddos can still go ahead thanks to these 10 easy recipes that need not a whiff of egg nor a scrap of flour.

1. Lemon cheesecake

The discovery of this no-bake easy lemon cheesecake by Charlotte's Lively Kitchen (pictured above) has not only made self-isolating way easier, but it's made for a fun, tasty time in our own kitchen too. Warning: One slice will never, ever be enough.

2. Flourless chocolate chip cookies

Turns out cookies can dough-tally pan out even without flour. We're loving these morsels of yumminess by Chocolate Covered Katie.

3. Golden syrup flapjacks

With just four ingredients, even with supplies running low, you'll still be able to whip up these delectable flapjacks using the BBC Good Food recipe. The gooier the better, we say!

4. Gluten free macarons

Nom, nom, nom!

Flour-free, egg-free, gluten-free, but definitely not taste-free, these tiny parcels of deliciousness are fun to make and very easy to eat. Use these instructions by The Spruce Eats.

5. Peanut butter fudge

There are few combinations tastier than peanut butter and fudge, so this easy eggless and flourless recipe by Allrecipes definitely hits the sweet spot.

6. Oatmeal energy balls
