Friends, Londoners, countrymen, lend me your ears if you're looking for things to do in London with kids this summer! How about heading over with the whole family for a show, a workshop, or join a special course for young performers as part of Shakespeare's Globe's summer lineup. Highlights include:

🎭 Rough Magic - book tix and enter a world of Shakespeare's magical characters as Macbeth's wonderfully wayward Weird Sisters cook up a supernaturally silly adventure of their own. Macbeth for kids? We're so there!

🎭 Macbeth Family Workshop - choose from a workshop aimed at young thesps age 5-8 or 9-12 and their families, you'll visit one of the rehearsal rooms to take part in an interactive workshop that combines activities and games designed to draw out elements of the play's language, characters and themes.

🎭 Macbeth GCSE Boost Workshop - we all know how stressful GCSEs can be for our 14-16 year olds so here's a workshop just for them to help with their studies of Shakespeare’s bloody tragedy Macbeth. The day will start with a peek inside the Globe Theatre to hear about the history of Shakespeare’s London and the theatrical world he created. Then, in one of the rehearsal studios, they'll jump into an interactive workshop led by a highly experienced education practitioner and explore the play’s language, characters and themes. Please note that these workshops are designed for young people aged 14 – 16 attending independently. Parents and guardians can enjoy the Globe’s food and drinks offer during the workshop.

🎭 Much Ado About Nothing - After years of war, an idyllic Italian town is finally back in bloom. Claudio and Hero, and sparring singletons Beatrice and Benedick, soon discover that all is not as it seems in their beautiful surrounds as they become entangled in a series of mischievous games, pranks and plots in this Shakespeare classic. Perfect for older kids and teens, we say.

🎭 Guided Tours - We're all about exploring and learning so love the idea of being transported back to Shakespeare's London to discover the magic of stagecraft, and explore the iconic Globe Theatre itself as part of Shakespeare's Globe Story & Tour.
