Virtual Santa 2020 : Father Christmas experiences Covid can't ruin

virtual santa 2020

With so much of the UK now in tier three, there have been lots of tears over ruined plans, including our meet-and-greets with Santa Claus this year. But we're not letting covid - the ultimate 'bah humbug' - get its ugly mitts on all the fun: we're still hanging out with Father Christmas albeit a virtual Santa kinda experience this year! Here's where you can see Santa online this festive season...

Virtual Father Christmas

We adore Virtual Father Christmas and love how it's spreading the magic of Christmas regardless of these crazy times. Father Christmas and his Elves are ready to bring the ultimate festive experience to you and your little ones, all in the safety of your own home, and thanks to a crash course in all things tech by Mrs Claus, Santa is a dab hand with Zoom, FaceTime and even Deliveroo (which he uses to send delish mince into the world with!). Not only is this a truly gorgeous experience, but Virtual Father Christmas is supporting the Make-A-Wish Foundation by donating £1 from every video call packages sold to this amazing charity. Psst: bag yourself a 20% saving by using the code LONDONFORKIDZ20 at checkout.

The Sharky & George Virtual Grotto

The Sharky & George virtual grotto sessions are filling up fast so book your private zoom meeting and bag yourself 20 minutes of sparkly fun, fantastic games and cool yule activities before virtually meeting the big fella himself. Father Christmas will also let your little ones know if they made the nice list, as well as chat about what presents they have asked for this year: this is so nicely done it won't fail to put your whole fam in a magical mood.

Portable North Pole

The Portable North Pole (PNP) app brings a sleigh-load of festive cheer to your kiddos with personalised videos and even telephone calls direct from Santa’s Village on Christmas Eve! We've been using this app for years now, and even pre-covid it was one of our fave ways to bring a little Chrimbo magic directly to our own small elves.

A Letter 4 Santa

Writing a letter to Santa is standard Chrimbo practice, so check out A Letter 4 Santa and kids will get an instant reply from FC himself! There are also some merry games and online colouring to add to to the festive feels.

Storystock

The Polar Express is one indisputably one of the best festive reads (we love the movie version too), so we can't wait to join Storystock's virtual Santa for his live reading of this Chrimbo classic! Santa will be beaming straight into your home from his own fireside chair so you can all snuggle down in your Xmas pyjamas, with a mug of hot choccie to hand, and listen in before being sent personal wishes from the fella in red. This is a magical online immersive experience that is sure to get everyone in the mood for the Big Day!

Norad Santa

A firm Christmas Eve tradition at London for Kidz HQ, sleigh-ride over to the Norad Santa live webcam to keep tabs on Father Christmas as he launches his Xmas Eve mission. Expect excitement levels - the kids AND yours - to reach combustions levels when the sleigh takes to the skies!

Now all you need to do is wait and see if you're on the naughty or nice list this year...
